Review: I want to start out saying that I have both attended plays from the Actor’s Workshop. I have always been impressed with the kind of quality productions put on by these young adults in the past. However, Anne of Green Gables was by far the best production I’ve seen this company put forth. Every member of the cast leaves an impression, but the young actress who played Anne was simply phenomenal. I had to remember that I wasn’t at the music circus watching Little Orphan Annie a couple times, because her charisma, and heck, even just looking spot-on for the character, was overwhelming… in the best way possible. There were some minor technical difficulties, but if you don’t leave this play with a smile on your face, you may want to make sure you’re heart is still working. Highly recommended for all ages (the children in front me were having a blast), and even to those men out there who are worried about the “chick flick” aspect of the story. I had never seen the movies of this story on purpose! I was sucked right into this, and enjoyed every minute.

Review: T.H.E. Actor’s Workshop(as always) did a great job with Anne Of Green Gables! Comical and sweet, this is a wonderful production to go see. Appropriate and fun for all ages. The entire cast was wonderful, but I was particularly impressed with the roles of Matthew Cuthbert and Rachel Lynde.

Review: I really enjoyed every bit of the show…the actors all did a great job. I like the way the stage was set up, along with the way they changed the scenes quickly without any difficulty. I think the actors for Anne, Matthew, and Mrs. Blewett did an absolutely wonderful job. After reading the book and watching the movie, I don’t think that the actor for Gilbert had quite captured the characters real personality yet. I noticed a few errors in the play that were covered up very well…I could tell that the actors all got along well, and had a close comradie. Even the people behind the scenes did a great job with the lights, props, and stage setup. It was appropriate for all ages, humorous and entertaining, and it captivated everyone’s attention. Being a big Anne of Green Gables fan, I give it a thumbs up!!!

Review: What a delightful Mother’s day show this was. It was just like watching the movie. The cast did an outstanding job. Everyone who took part in putting this production together should be commended for all the work they put into it making it the success that it was. It was a must see for all ages. Very comical, charming and fully entertaining. All the characters portrayed by the actors and actress’ gave a star performance.

Review: For a group of high school actors, this was an exceptional performance. The transitions and set changes were very smooth. The story line was engaging and funny at times. Character portrayals were performed extremely well. I especially enjoyed Mrs. Spencer’s exquisite British accent. Diana Barry’s imitation of a tipsy school girl was very believable and well done by a girl just learning the art of acting. And the star of the show, Anne, played by Megan Pedersen, was every bit as funny, imaginative, and animated as the real character portrayed in the book “Anne of Green Gables”. This is a quality performance well worth seeing by the whole family.
